My third tattoo I got on the back of my neck, not even two months after I got my first two. I'm completely hooked on getting tattooed now! I got the Om symbol on the back of my neck not only to symbolise my appreciation for the Buddhist culture but to represent as described on most websites "the vibration to ensure existence".
Pain: 2/5

My next tattoo was very impulsive. One day after college I decided I wanted to get a tattoo behind my left ear. I got a feather and although it has no meaning behind it, I love the way it looks.
Pain: 0/5

Again, another impulse tattoo but something I had been planning to get for a while. Whilst shopping on Oxford Street, my friend decided to get a feather tattooed behind her ear and after she got hers done, I decided to get the lyric: "Can you be my nightingale?" tattooed on my ribcage. Although it's ultimately a Demi Lovato lyric, I adore the song and I got it in memory of my uncle.
Pain: 3/5

I got a traditional black and grey rose on the back of my arm, which might sound butch but it actually looks quite feminine. This tattoo was the start of my sleeve which I'm hoping to have done by the end of next year (hopefully).
Pain: 3/5

My anchor was my 7th tattoo which I got as matching tattoo with my sister basically symbolising the strong bond we have.
Pain: 2/5

The Roman numerals I got on my wrist is my mum's birth year. I didn't want to get the actual number because it would have looked completely ridiculous and I don't think my mum would have appreciated my basically displaying her age on my arm forever.
Pain: 2/5

Another favourite of mine! I got my gypsy head done in one sitting (5 hours!) I was going to get some colour but I decided against it as I want a traditional black and grey sleeve (with the exception of Lawrence's eyes).
Pain: 3/5 (but went to a 4 during the last hour)

My most recent tattoo is of a mandala on my calf and my god this one hurt! Unfortunately it didn't heal well - my body didn't really agree with the thick lines in the tattoo so one day I will gave to get it touched up but other than that, I think it looks beautiful. And it was done by one of my favourite tattoo artists in the world! (The reason why I haven't posted a proper picture is because of the colour at the bottom - just have a look at it pre-healed)
I hope anyone who read this post enjoyed, feel free to comment on anything, let me know what tattoos you have or want to get & let me know what you would like to see in new blog posts! I want to start blogging regularly now that I've finished my second year of Uni!
