NEW APP: MALLZEE

If you're a big fan of Depop or The Hunt, there's a new and improved app on the App Store that you will most definitely be drawn towards. Mallzee is a personal shopping experience that enables you to shop effortlessly and without leaving the comfort of your bed! I mean, what could be better than that?!

A great aspect of the app is being able to personalise your 'style feeds', tailoring to your own style and tastes. The app has everything from beachwear to workwear and varies from high street to high end. Bags, belts, dresses, suits, jackets, hats, accessories, tops, jeans. You name it. The app caters to your every fashion need.

What's great (but also could possibly make me extremely broke) is that you can use this app on the go - whether that be on your way to school, work, university or maybe if you're just out and about running errands.

What I love most about the app is that my favourite brands are featured! Stores such as Forever 21, Topshop, Miss Selfridge and ASOS are easily accessed with Mallzee. And if you're like me and get quite annoyed and impatient when signing up for the new things, Mallzee offers a no pain in the arse sign up page that requires you to fill in only your full name, email and a password.

I am obsessed with this app!

STAPLE: THE DENIM JACKET

Hallelujah! My denim jacket came in the post yesterday! I ordered this gorgeous vintage jacket from Pop Boutique via ASOS and I'm not gonna lie, I was worried that it either wouldn't fit or it just wouldn't suit me... Luckily I was wrong!

Now first of all, let me apologise for the quality of these photos. With my mum being at work, I had to ask my sister to take my photos for me. Let's just say she isn't as good a photographer as my mum.

Today, I had an opticians appointments (and I've ordered my new Gok Wan glasses!!) and I wanted to mix my style up a bit.
I paired my denim jacket with a white rolled sleeve t-shirt from Topman (gotta love them), my black Joni jeans from Topshop and yet again, my leopard print Vans. They kill but I've gotta wear them in somehow. It pays to look good. I just used my New Look backpack - as usual and wore my Casio watch from American Apparel.

What's great about this jacket is that it keeps you warm on cooler days (as it was this morning) but also keeps you cool as the day gets warmer. With it being oversized, you won't struggle to layer your pieces together. I'm planning on wearing it during my trip to Amsterdam in October. I paid £36 (it was originally £40 but I got 10% student discount) and I've got to say, I think this is a staple piece in my wardrobe that I'll wear for a while! I'm so happy with my purchase. Thanks again ASOS!

#LFW SPIRIT

I am totally gutted that I didn't get to go to London Fashion Week this year! I've been longing to go for so long but I just haven't had the time!

But with it being one of the last days of LFW, I thought I'd dress as if I were attending.. Well, this isn't entirely what I'd wear but something along these lines. I was there in spirit.

On top, I wore my favourite t-shirt at the moment, which of course is my 'We Built This City On Bacon Rolls' t-shirt from The Breakfast Club. I'm obsessed!

With my t-shirt, I wore my favourite boyfriend jeans from Topshop (I mean, where else would I buy them from!?!) and my new leopard print Vans that are still killing my feet! Can someone please give me some tips on how I can wear them in quickly?!

As I knew I'd be out all day with the family, I decided that it was best to take a hoody with me. I've been loving my new grey kangaroo hoody from Topman. The inside is incredibly soft; it literally feels like I've wrapped myself in a blanket! I bought it in a size medium as I wanted it to be a little oversized. And of course, oversized clothing has become popular on the catwalks this year.

I thought I'd also show you what I've been wearing on my nails lately as I've been in love with the colour that my sister picked out. For the past few months I've been looking after my nails and I'm pretty proud of how far I've come. If you knew me in high school, you would know that my nails were non-existent. I'm ashamed to say that I had bitten my nails to merely thin lines... It's stress I tell you! The colour of the polish is Peach Pie by Maybelline and after applying my base coat, two coats and my top coat, my nails look gorgeous, if I do say so myself.

But anyway, even though I wasn't actually at London Fashion Week this year (sad face), I wanted to go for a look today that was similar to the looks that were seen on the runway. Obviously my outfit is no way near as beautiful and intricate as some outfits that we've seen this year but can I just say, I bloody love today's look. I was so comfortable!

STAPLE: THE LEATHER JACKET

A little splurging never hurt anyone right?

As I get ready to get back into my routine at university, I decided to get a few staples that I wear on a daily basis. Especially as the colder weather makes its way back into our lives.

I found this gorgeous biker jacket in Topshop a few days ago, after taking my niece to see Tangled. It's incredibly soft and fits perfectly! However, I bought myself a size 12 so at least I can wear hoodies and jumpers underneath without struggling to move! The price shocked me, at only £48 (without my student discount)! I was sold!

The day I decided to christen the jacket, I was feeling into wearing all black, so I paired my new piece with a pair of black Joni jeans from Topshop, my new black hi-top converse and my Blink 182 tour t-shirt.

What I love about this biker jacket is that you can pop the buttons in so you don't have the flaps flapping around all day. And it gives the jacket a more uniformed look. But obviously, if you like the dressed down look, you can just let them run free!

FALLING FOR CONVERSE

I did it again... I went to Office and committed a sin. Yes, I bought another pair of Converse.
I don't blame myself however. I blame Matt Healy. When I got the bus into town, I had no intention of buying anything, let alone a pair of shoes but, as soon as I stepped foot into Office, they played the entire 'The 1975' album. I didn't leave the shop until the last song had ended...

But look at how cute they are!! I seriously feel like Matt in these shoes! And yet again, they're so comfy!!

I think it's time to clear out the hoard of Converses that I have.. Most of them, I don't even wear! But we shall see.....

INSPIRED: KYLIE JENNER!

For the longest time, I have been obsessed with Kylie Jenner's style, hair and of course her makeup. Over the past few weeks, my outfits that I have been styling have been heavily inspired by the youngest Jenner and I think it's safe to say that she is now one of my style icons (alongside Nicole Richie, Khlo-Money, Claire Marshall & Sammi from BeautyCrush - LOVE these girls!)

Anyway, I went into Boots yet again (seriously, someone needs to ban me from that shop!) and went on the hunt for a lip liner and lipstick that would somewhat match Kylie's signature 90s inspired lip that she has been wearing a lot recently! I've heard that she actually wears MAC's lip stick in 'Velvet Teddy' but I find MAC lipsticks to be rather drying on my lips so I sought after a cheaper, more flattering and longer lasting alternative.

Eventually, I found myself in the Rimmel section and found a lip liner and lipstick that I thought were pretty good dupes to the ones Kylie actually wears, but more than half the amount of what I would have paid at MAC!

I usually go for darker lipsticks (i.e. plums and reds) but this combination not only makes my lips appear fuller, it also gives off the 'my lips but better' vibe. I bought my lipliner in the shade '063 Eastend Snob' (I'm not one, I promise) and the lipstick in '08'. Both products are extremely high quality and I'd say were very similar, if not identical to the lipstick Kylie wears.

I decided against posing like Kylie as I know for a fact I'd just look like a knob.

I personally really like this combination. It's more flattering than I thought it would be!

Lipliner  (£3.99)
Lipstick (5.49)
Right, it's 2 for £10 on all things Rimmel!

DAISY DREAM BY MARC JACOBS

The other day I placed an order on http://www.boots.com and treated myself to a new perfume. I've collected quite a few perfumes in the past year including my favourite Chanel Chance 'Eau Fraiche' that is slowly running out. Sad times. :(
I've seen a few adverts recently advertising Marc Jacobs' new fragrance Daisy Dream and I was instantly drawn in by the bottle. It is literally the cutest thing I've ever seen!
I ordered the 50ml bottle (and on top of that, I got a free makeup pouch and a 4ml travel bottle of the perfume). And can you believe I only paid £50 for it!?!

I am so obsessed with this scent already. Daisy Dream has a fruity yet floral smell to it with small hints of jasmine, lychee and blackberry extracts. The coconut water essence stops the perfume from being too overpowering. The combination of scents proves this perfume to be a perfect fragrance for summer and the upcoming cooler months.

You can buy the 50ml bottle (inc. makeup pouch and 4ml bottle) here (psssssst... it's £45 now!)
